It's been a long time between drinks! Nearly a whole month has gone by and Easter is almost upon us.

I must say I am proud of my daughter Lauren, she had stuck to her Lent promise for not going on FaceBook, that's fantastic! Good on you Lauren

Anyway...wishing you all a very HAPPY EASTER.

Is this the End? Definitely Not!!

Yeh, I've completed the program and do you believe with 2 days to spare!

I'm definitely going to give myself a pat on the back!!

This has been a fun and very worthwhile learning experience. It has taken me quite a while to wrap my head around the whole concept of this eLearning. I found it hard at first but as I went through the activities it became easier.

One point I would like to stress is, it has been difficult, especially when I am a part-timer; there just wasn't enough off-desk time allocated to complete each activity. I've had to do a lot of the computer work at home where I'm lucky I have "broadband". I think also 1 hour per day would be a more realistic time-frame than the 15 minutes that was originally stated, the reading involved when visiting sites took a lot of time.

Anyway....it has been a fantastic journey, I've learnt so much and discovered and explored so many tools and sites that I will definitely go and explore some more, therefore this is definitely not THE END. Mostly importantly I will be able to share these tools and my learning/discovery experiences with my family and friends.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn about Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 technology and a BIG THANK-YOU to the Victorian Public Library Network. One important aspect I've learnt is to approach learning with positive characteristics: persistence, confidence and organizational skills.

I would also like to thank my colleagues (Linda, Anna, Helen and Bronwyn) who have encouraged and help me during this learning experience.

Nearly There " Audiobooks"

Downloadable eAudiobooks are great but I think people need to be more technology savvy to be able to navigate through the process of downloading a book.

Many people have mp3 players now but more for listening to music but who knows libraries could set a trend here and encourage more people to "download an eBook".

Here are my Bloglines Feeds - Better Late than Never

I've finally done it! Brought over my Bloglines Feeds, hope you enjoy reading them.

Podcasts and Smodcasts

Ummm... very interesting.

I listened to various podcasts and found the language ones very beneficial where each podcast comprised a lesson.

I will certainly try and create my own podcast in http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ in the future.

Discovering Web 2.0 Tools

I love the above picture thus I'm speechless! I never realized there were so many web tools out there, I'm definitely going to explore many of them.

So far I've signed in to iGoogle and set my own personal diary and personal stuff (anything I like).

I also surfed around a few of the applications, eg., squidoo, cocktailbuilder, omnidrive and twitter.

I've added a link here so I can go back to these award winning tools ! Cool stuff!!

Zoho Writer

I signed into Zoho Writer and wrote this and published into my blog. Cool!!

This application is fantastic. I will certainly use this tool again, again, again. It has such flexibility which allows students/colleagues to work, collaborate with each other across the country/region.
